Sonu Nigam On National Anthem
Singer Sonu Nigam said on Thursday that, while jumping in the debate over playing the national anthem in public places, he said on Thursday that wherever he respects every nation’s national anthem, he also feels that it should not be played in cinemas and restaurants. The singer said that the national anthem of any country should be respected and people should respect them only what they give to their national anthem. He said, “If the national anthem of Pakistan is played and all the Pakistanis stand then I will stand as a respect for that country and those people.”
Sonu said, “Some people say that the national anthem should be played there (some cinemas), some say that it should not be so. The national anthem is a prestigious and sensitive thing and I think it should not be played in some places – cinemas or restaurants. “The Supreme Court on Monday had directed the Center to decide on the issue of playing the national anthem at public places including theaters.
Vidya Balan On National Anthem
The film Actress Vidya Balan has also given her opinion on this issue during the debate on the national anthem in cinemas. She has said that the national anthem should not be played before the film in theaters. Patriotism cannot be imposed.
Vidya Balan said in a program in Delhi, “I do not think the national anthem should be played before the films. You are not in school, where you start the day with the national anthem. “She said,” Therefore, personally I believe that the national anthem should not be played there. You cannot impose patriotism.
“The actress said that she loves her country and can go to any extent to protect her.
